Our Tuesday social activities span a 12-week period, offering a variety of engaging pursuits each day. Participants can enjoy diverse activities such as art and craft sessions, painting classes, board game tournaments, cooking workshops, and many other enriching experiences. This structured schedule ensures a dynamic and enjoyable program designed to cater to varied interests and preferences over the course of the program.
Social Activities / Lunch run from 11am-3pm at our Support Enhancing Centre in Kyneton
Every Friday, we host a social lunch featuring a varying cuisine each week.
Following lunch, participants engage in activities of their choice, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable conclusion to the gathering.
We all know that when kids make art, it promotes creativity. Creativity is the ability to think outside the proverbial box, to string two unrelated ideas together in a new way. Solutions to major problems and breakthroughs of all kinds are linked to creativity. We also know that creativity is extremely important for a child’s development. But artmaking has many more benefits to kids’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Each week children will get messy in our Multi-Purpose room with a never-ending supply of Arts and Crafts to express their creativity by personalising a project of choice for the week.

Stir the pancake mix, measure one cup of water, roll out the dough…all of these cooking tasks help kids develop necessary academic, cognitive and motor skills. Each time your child helps prepare a meal, you are preparing them for success in school and in life. Cooking with kids offers a wide variety of opportunities to learn and grow!
Each week children will be given the opportunity to cook something news, whether it be cupcakes, cookies, or simply experimenting with different tastes.
Each child will have their own island trolley with all required equipment including their very own apron and little chef hat.

Lego club is a play-based approach to encouraging the development of communication and social skills using a common interest...LEGO! Many children love Lego and opportunity is provide for creativity and self-expression.
Children will read instructions, sort through to find the right bricks and construct their project. Children can work collaboratively on a model, or independently if at a different skills level before coming together to share their creation.

Gardening has many health and therapeutic benefits from reducing stress to education about sustainability. It’s an activity that everyone can enjoy by tending to plants and growing your own food.
Each term “Season” (weekly sessions) children will start by preparing the soil in our vegetable gardens, they will then sow their seeds for the season. As each week passes and their vegetables grow, the children will tend to the garden ensuring they remove weeds, keep the bugs at bay and ensure the health of their vegetables.
In addition children will do activities such as making grass heads, experimenting with regenerating vegetable after initial growth and moulding pots.

Movement is a fundamental part of life, from the time we are born to the time we grow old, while we sleep and during our busy day, we are moving!
Creative movement helps children develop body control, coordination, and balance through varied movements. Children are able to respond to music and rhythm with movement to express their creativity in a physical way.
Each week our movement room will be set up for children to race through, over and under obstacles, balance on blocks, jump through ropes, dance to the music, learn to stretch, catch a ball or burn off excess energy.

Our teen social group is an opportunity for 12-18 year old participants to meet like-minded peers in a relaxed environment; share strengths, passions or interests over board games, arts / craft, exercise, Lego, gaming, etc.

Programs run from 10am-3pm Mon-Fri during the school holiday period at our Support Enhancing Centre in Kyneton.
Bookings are taking in advance and close 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the holidays.
Group are run at a maximum of 1:3 ratio with a maximum of 6 children each day.
