Hi there,
My name is Courtney Davis, I founded Able U in 2019. I hold qualifications in both Disability and Aged Care.
As mum to Master "N" (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexic) and sister to Mr "N" (Multiple Sclerosis), I understand firsthand the challenges of finding a reliable and trustworthy support provider, as well as navigating the complexities of the NDIS system.
MY MISSION
My mission is to ensure that all Able U participants feel genuinely appreciated, valued, and respected by both their support workers and the management team. With over a decade of professional experience in aged and disability services, coupled with extensive lived experience, I am profoundly committed to assisting NDIS participants in achieving their goals. I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment, working closely with participants and their care teams to ensure comprehensive, individualized support that leads to the best possible outcomes. My approach emphasizes empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of each participant's unique needs, ensuring that every interaction and service provided enhances their quality of life and overall well-being.
MY VISION
At Able U, my vision is steadfast: to steadfastly prioritize the delivery of high-quality services over rapid expansion. Building and maintaining robust relationships with every Able U participant is paramount, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique service requirements. By deliberately remaining a smaller provider, we mitigate any potential gaps in communication between participants and senior management. Personally, overseeing each participant's service delivery allows me to pinpoint areas for enhancement and uphold standards of excellence. This hands-on approach guarantees that participants benefit from personalized, attentive support, with direct access to me for transparent and informed discussions about their care.
Disability Support Workers
In addition to Courtney working directly with clients on a regular basis, Able U boasts a skilled team of support workers who hold pertinent industry certifications. These qualifications span across Disability, Aged Care, Education Support, Allied Health, Leisure and Lifestyle, and more. Each support worker undergoes yearly industry training and holds essential credentials including:
We recognize that the participant/support worker relationship is crucial to delivering quality service. Therefore, we match workers to participants based on their qualifications, experience, and interpersonal compatibility. Participants are empowered to select their preferred support worker from profiles provided—we never impose a one-size-fits-all approach.
